The Goal:
The goal of this project was to design a user friendly and intuitive platform that connects independent music artists with venues looking to book performers. The aim was to streamline the gig booking process by enabling venues to post opportunities with specific details like date, location, genre preferences, and budget. Artists needed to be able to easily browse these listings, submit proposals, and negotiate terms directly within the platform. The core objective was to create a seamless experience that encourages interaction, fosters trust, and empowers artists to showcase their talent effectively.

The Challenge:
One of the main challenges was designing for two distinct user groups artists and venues each with unique goals and user flows. The platform needed to provide robust functionality like filtering, messaging, proposal management, and calendar integration, while maintaining a clean and intuitive interface. Creating a smooth and transparent negotiation experience without overwhelming the user was critical. Additionally, building trust in a digital environment where many users might be interacting for the first time required features such as verified profiles and secure communication.

The final outcome was a responsive and visually engaging platform that successfully simplified the gig discovery and booking process. Artists can now find gigs based on genre, location, and budget, while venues can easily manage postings and discover talent that fits their event needs.
